Bob Steimer – Principal

With over forty years’ experience in design, construction, contract management, and facilities maintenance, Bob has a broad base of experience both geographically and materially. He has more than six years’ experience as head of maintenance at two large naval facilities (Norfolk and Alameda). Consequently, he is an expert in the development of maintenance plans and the physical effects of their implementation. His experience in the roofing business includes design, construction, and inspection as well as the management of large and small roofing systems.
Bob is a registered professional engineer in the state of Washington and a qualified underwater construction technician (diver). As a professional engineer, Bob concentrates his work on inspection of buildings, remedial construction specifications, and reserve consultation. In 2008, the Condominium Associations Institute recognized Bob's work on reserve studies with the Reserve Specialist designation. As a principal of Reserve Consultants, Bob strives to continuously improve the experience and value for RCL clients.

Denise has an extensive architectural background with more than 15 years of firsthand experience. She has worked through all phases of construction including design development, construction documentation and construction administration. Her resume includes a variety of project types ranging from residential to corporate with project budgets varying from a few thousand dollars to over sixty million dollars. She is a current member of the Roof Consultants Institute (RCI).
Denise first obtained licensure as an Architect and became a LEED accredited professional in 2003. She is currently a licensed Architect in the State of Washington and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. Denise has been completing reserve studies and capital expenditure reports since 2008. In 2011, the Condominium Associations Institute recognized Denise as a Reserve Specialist.

Erie Stone obtained licensure as an Architect over 30 years ago and became a LEED accredited professional in 2007. He is currently a licensed Architect in Washington and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. Erie holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Washington State University. An experienced Architect, his resume includes a variety of projects ranging from residential to corporate, with emphasis on remodels. His projects include post offices, VA domiciliary housing, hospital administration buildings, emergency rooms, a courthouse remodel, numerous department stores, specialty retail stores and shopping malls. He has worked in depth through all phases of construction, including design, design development, construction documents, bidding and construction administration. The projects vary from small remodels of a few thousand dollars to a hundred million dollars. In 2016 Erie was recognized as a “Reserve Specialist” by the Community Associations Institute.
Ian Garavaglia holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington. Since graduation, he has immersed himself into the field of construction. He has been with Algeco Scotsman for over a decade having started out as a carpenter and presently holds the title of Project Manager. Mr. Garavaglia has managed government projects as well as smaller jobs across the county and has vast knowledge of all phases of construction. Some of his projects include the Marysville High School campus and the Ruby Pipeline operational facilities. In 2016 Ian was recognized as a “Reserve Specialist” by the Community Associations Institute.
Paul Kelsey has 40 years of experience in Canada and the United States in construction and engineering design and management, from mining and petro-chemical plants, to plant and equipment designs, to site installations. Paul worked for several years in San Francisco on nuclear engineering design, and later in Washington State on forest products research & development, producing many products that are standard in the construction industries today. Paul has also been involved with working in acoustical design engineering and inspections in high rise and multi family buildings in conjunction with JGL Acoustics Inc.
Paul has worked as a consultant with Reserve Consultants since 2007 on many projects for remedial construction repair, water incursion and project management on multi-family construction, as well as construction inspections.
Mahria joined Reserve Consultants in 2016. Mahria holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Springfield College, MA. She has over 20 years of experience with marketing and various aspects of integrated communication in the construction industry. Mahria excels at listening to clients’ goals and providing attainable solutions to their needs. Her attention to detail lends well to providing clear and concise recommendations that clients can utilize to make informed decisions.
Sam R Wilson
Registered Architect, Washington & Montana

Sam Wilson joined Reserve Consultants in 2017. He graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Montana State University in 1991. Practicing in Billings and Missoula prior to moving to Seattle in 1997, Sam became a licensed Architect in Montana in 1995 and in Washington in 1999. He also became a LEED accredited professional in 2007. Throughout his career, Sam has been engaged in all phases of construction from early design through to construction administration. He has worked on a variety of commercial, institutional and residential projects, which have encompassed local, national and international job sites.
