| ABOUT THE OWNERS |
|
United by their passion for construction, Bob and Ken started Reserve Consultants (RCL) in 1992. Initially, their focus was providing reserve studies to condominium associations, but to serve the needs of their clients they expanded the business to include oversight, specifications, inspections and consulting services. They had a vision for a one-stop expert service center that creates value and convenience for their clients.
Together Bob and Ken bring more than 60 years of construction and engineering experience to their clients. Their goal is simply to protect the property of their clients and avoid unnecessary expenses. Reserve Consultants employs accredited reserve specialists, licensed architects, professional engineers and project managers to achieve this goal.
Where most businesses fail in the first 5 to 10 years, Reserve Consultants has been serving Washington State since 1992. Our clients have an appreciation for the honesty, integrity, patience and creativity that we bring to them. |

With over forty years experience in design, construction, contract management, and facilities maintenance, Bob has a broad base of experience both geographically and materially. He has more than six years experience as head of maintenance at two large naval facilities (Norfolk and Alameda). Consequently, he is an expert in the development of maintenance plans and the physical effects of their implementation. His experience in the roofing business includes design, construction, and inspection as well as the management of large and small roofing systems. |

| Bob is a registered professional engineer in the state of Washington and a qualified underwater construction technician (diver). As a professional engineer, Bob concentrates his work on inspection of buildings, remedial construction specifications, and reserve consultation. He is a current member of the Roof Consultants Institute (RCI). In 2008, the Condominium Association Institute recognized Bob's work on reserve studies with the Reserve Specialist designation. As a principal of Reserve Consultants, Bob strives to continuously improve the experience and value for RCL clients. |

Ken has an extensive architectural and construction background with more than 20 years experience in planning and overseeing major repairs and renovations in both the public and private sector. Ken’s financial understanding provides invaluable expertise in long term planning for building preservation. Ken played a key role in establishing and implementing preventive maintenance and maintenance management systems for the Seattle Center, the Monorail, and for United Parcel Services Northwest Region. |

| Ken is a licensed electrical administrator, and was a licensed general contractor for fifteen years and an electrical contractor for twelve years. Ken is the founder of Reserve Consultants, and has been completing reserve studies, facility inspections, and studies of future repair needs for buildings since 1991. He studied construction law and condominium law while pursuing his law degree, and is a licensed attorney in the state of Washington. Ken has degrees in architecture, law and business from the University of Washington. Ken became a recognized Community Association Institute Reserve Specialist in 2008. This designation represents years of quality reserve studies. Ken splits his time between serving condominium associations as a construction consultant and an attorney. |
